Holcombe United Methodist Church

Our Mission

Holcombe UMC is a congregation that takes seriously its ministry to and with people of all ages. The church is known for its openness to the community and is devoted to being a place that is welcoming and inviting. We offer programs ranging from children's Sunday school to adult Bible study and senior luncheons.

The worship style at Holcombe UMC is essentially traditional, though relaxed. Children's Sunday school is at 10 a.m. About 60 people worship weekly at Holcombe UMC, and the total membership is about 135.

Sunday worship: 8:30 a.m.

Children's Sunday school: 10 a.m. (September through May)

Adult Sunday school: 10 a.m. (all year round)

History

The northernmost church sits at the gateway to Lake Holcombe and the Holcombe Flowage — the confluence of several Northern Wisconsin rivers wending their way southward. Recreation opportunities — including a state park and a county park — abound. The church was built in 1999 and is surrounded by ample parking.
